Scenic Routes: Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Worth Valley, moors and surrounding countryside.
The terrain is variable, which could include footpaths, tracks and moorland and could have some stiles and uphill sections
Nature Walks: Discover flora and fauna along our walks
Social Atmosphere: Connect with like-minded people and enjoy a warm and welcoming social get-together
Whether you’re searching for nature or seeking adventure, nothing beats the joys of walking. And whilst there’s no special kit required, it’s a good idea to consider what to wear and take with you.
What should you wear while walking? Where will you be walking (terrain), the time of year and the weather? Good footwear is important, and walking boots or shoes are a good option for all kinds of walks.
When thinking about clothing, many items work all year round in combination with different layers.
A good waterproof jacket is well worth considering, and depending on your ability, walking poles can be beneficial
